Only thing I understoof from this was the name, subvendor, memory type(ish) and meme size. Where do you guys learn all the nitty gritty stuff?

lets see it.....

But GPU-Z doesn't lie

Die size seems small. Also wrong fab process.

link a validation on techpowerup, or its a lie.

lol @ memory speed... wow... and so many more transistors than a 680 but 1/2 the die size and 22nm.... hmmm.... lol

Yeh I have hard time believing the transistor count.

Besides I have a can of coke in my hand this trumps everything, even kitties.

its not that unbelievable, the 7970 has 4300 or so, so the 8970 or the 780 having ~1000 more transistors wouldn't be too far fetched.

What would you do if he did? lol Who knows, march '13 was the rumoured date. Granted that information is readily available and it could be shopped, but who knows...
#16 Posted by Klunt_Bumskrint (3628 posts) -

Yes of couse I shopped it!

Just practicing my shopping, I think I did a good job,

I don't think all of my predictions are too far fetched:D

#17 Posted by Klunt_Bumskrint (3628 posts) -

When you compare it so one of my 680's ( which is real )

#18 Posted by blaznwiipspman1 (6028 posts) -

here is mine for comparison

You do realize some of the specs are actually confirmed... like max number of shaders and the size of the memory interface.
Heck, you can also pretty easily narrow down the clocks to small range.

Over 500 gb/s of memory bandwidth? Nvidia SLI "n/a?" Not gonna happen.
