How many Non Chinese people play League of Legends?

Been playing a bit of LoL recently after I spent some time in China where it seems every guy between the ages of 16 and 30 seems to play it. Just wondering how popular it is outside of China?

DOTA2 is where the real MOBA competition is at.

While i'm personally not a fan of Mobas, 90% of the people I know that are prefer Dota to League.

this community of MOBA players... does it include lol players? if it doesn't, how can you say it is "widely regarded" when you leave out the players of the most popular one?

thats because DOTA is the better game :P

i dont know why people play LoL. it is noobish and boring. there is hardly any complexity to the gameplay. removing denying and many other high level mechanics makes the game just bland.
