Search for "xbox360 controller PC drivers" on google. Theres a team that has created custom drivers for non360 controller supported games. Its a bit washy but it works most of the time :) hope that helps.

I've got no idea about the game you mention so I'll just tell you what I did. You need to download the drivers from Microsoft. Install them. Then the hard part. Plug in your USB controller. Done. Or... plug in your USB dongle for the wireless controllers. Sync your wireless controller. Done. Any configuration after that is pretty much up to you.

Yes but the game must have 360 gamepad support OR you need custom drivers to map your keyboard to it.... you cant just plug in and play for FlightSimX guys.

Yes you can. FSX was developed to work specificially with the 360 controller. The manual even has a diagram showing the default control mapping for the controller.

I got the usb wireless adapter. The 360 controller works wonderfully with FSX.

If it's a wired one then you just need to plug it into a USB slot. If it's wireless then you'll need an adapter that can be bought from retail stores like Future Shop if your in Canada.

The play and charge is only designed to charge the battery. Even when its used on the 360 the pad is still wireless, the charge kit is just a power cable. To play the wireless pad on your PC you need the wireless gaming receiver.
