I thought you could download stuff onto a SD card from the computer but i see no slot i could put my card in. So was i wrong or cant you put an SD card into the PC?

Um you can if the PC is equipped with one, they all don't come with memory card readers.
Laptops usually come with flash card readers, but I'm not sure desktops do (mine didn't). You can buy an external USB media reader/writer for your PC. Make sure it supports the SD format.

What do you have for a PC? I have no idea about the hardware for mine alls i know is there is a slot on my wii but i cant find any where on my towere that looks like that slot

You will have to buy a memory card reader (rather inexpensive). Do you have a decent photo/multifunction printer? A good number of them have slots for those types of memory cards.
