Hey peeps, was looking for a recommendation for a pc gaming case, I live in the UK btw, preferably with a decent fan set up pre installed, e.g 1x120/140mm intake and 2x120/140mm exhaust fans, price isn't an issue really, I'd say around £100 - £140, thanks!!

BTW spec is GTX 670, I5 3570k, 8GB low profile ram, 1 SSD, 1 HDD.

Personally I think corsair cases are great, for that budget you could get a 600T or 650d.

Case choices tend to be more about personal taste then features. For me as long as its not a bright color and cheaply made and it does what its suppose to I dont care lol.

Since your in the UK some brands will be higher in price but the brands to look for are Cooler Master, Corsair, Nzxt, Thermaltake etc. also do you want a mid tower or full tower?

Here are a few mid towers

Corsair 500r

CM 690 II

Nzxt Phantom 410

Here are a few full towers

HAF X

Aerocool Predator X

ThermalTake Chaser

Thanks people, I'll probably go full tower for better cooling, what do you recommend for the fan cooling? I was thinking 1 fan to cool HDD, 1x120/140 at the bottom of the case, pushing air to gpu, to cpu and then out of 2x120/140 exhaust fans at the top?

BTW my MOBO sets the speeds on the BIOS, I'm not sure wether to run silent, normal or flat out for each fans? sorry noobie here :)

With alot of the cases like the HAF X you dont have to worry about the fans since the they already have them where they need to be.

I recommend on Corsair 200R, 300R, 400R and 500R - they're almost identical except for the 500R which allows high end water cooling like the 100i

I have this case Rosewill Armor EVO currently on sale for $75 If you want a good bang for your buck case with great cooling this is a good choice comes with 6 fans in total has 5 120mm(2 front,2 top, 1 rear( and 1 240mm side fan and has room for 3 more 120mm(1 on the bottom, 2 inside the case in front of the preexisting front fans). There was a sale for 4 120mm case fans for $11 and I installed 2 of them no more connectors left for the third one.

Interesting thing cases are. I have been shopping parts for my new build, first since my last 7 years ago. Cases have practically gone nowhere; no advancements, no design breakthroughs. My 7 year old case is the Antec nine-hundred, which still is a hot seller today. The price is even near the same it was then. Weird how anything in technology stays around that long without changing. So my new build will likely look very much with my old one, since I have always liked my case. I was sort of hoping in recent years their would have been innovative and appealing new case designs. But no, I guess not. . .

I recently went with the Cooler Master Storm Enforcer. Fantastic case with an absolute ton of room for a Mid Tower. Plenty of room for for expansion, though I did have to remove the center HD docking bay to fit my video card.

Sweet case, also it's best to remove those HDD bays so the airflow will move much better.

I'm quite happy with it. I was just going to stick with my old Rosewill case, but after doing a bit of measuring, there was no way my new video card would fit without getting out the hacksaw. I'm still impressed by the amount of space left over.

Here's the case I'm using and so far it's fantastic. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006TVQTHW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has room for 2 fans in front, a side fan, rear fan and a fan coming out the top of the case. There is also a fan directly behind the processor, it's a neat feature that helps keep the core temps down. There is a massive amount of room in the case. It looks rather simple which is precisely the reason I got it, that and the fact it's very affordable. I don't need any of those flashy cases. It also has water cooling grommets out the top if you need them. Overall I'm very satisfied.
