As I'm seen as the more tech savy person by my friends and colleagues, I was asked to recommend a laptop from a particular site to bought as a gift. I'm now pretty good with desktops but I've ignored anything to do with laptops and I'm not confident of picking out the best available,.

They said it has to be from thiis site because they have credit owed to them from that site to spend.

The use of the laptop will be casual gaming, so games like The Sims, simple strategy games, Walking Dead/Wolf Among us etc.

The budget is £500 max, could someone pick out what the better of the laptops are on that site are, I've not quite grasped what laptops are better than others, all I know is its different and they don't perform anywhere near as well as desktops.

Once you click the link it will take you to a UK retailer called Very.com, should be on the search page with search parameters filtering out the laptops to only show ones in budget.

Any help at all would be appreciated,
