Help my HP compuer a1358c

well, when I was installing my new video card, my video card got hot! so then my computer crashed! its was my families computer! they say that I got t he wong video card! tell what the problem could be. the error code is "HD521-2W " so what happend and why did this happen?

try googling it but i think its the hp harddrive that has failed

hopefully your computer is under warrenty, call compaq/hp and see if they can replace the harddrive

i would googlw it first, what video card did you put in and what are your PC specs (you need to say the mobo)

i googled the warning message and it said something about the hard drive going bad. the S.M.A.R.T something has to do with the warning message. Did you drop teh computer lately?

IF YOU CALL HP DO NOT TELL THEM YOU PUT A NEW GPU IN! IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRENTY! I LEARNED THAT THE HARD WAY!

Maybe your pc didnt have a PSU that could handle the power needed for the new graphics card and it messed up your hard drive?

Well, I would call HP back but dont tell them you put in a GPU as posted above, becuase if you tell them you opened to pc to put in gpu will probably void your warranty.
