Sup my fellow computah nerds.

I'm hopefully buying a Bitfenix Prodigy from someone online so this is my first adventure into the tiny world of ITX systems, only trouble is I don't know whether I should spend more money to get a Z77 board for a LAN rig. On one hand I get more performance plus I get to OC yet on the other I have the problem of the extra heat and its more expensive.

I have these two mobo's to choose from.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-P8Z77-I-Motherboard-Intelligent-Processors/dp/B007RHVDU0/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1367459022&sr=8-5&keywords=itx+motherboard

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-P8H77-I-Motherboard-Channel-Express/dp/B007OCD3C4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1367459022&sr=8-2&keywords=itx+motherboard

Thats a £60 difference between the two.

Next up we have the CPU's. Now I'm not sure if I should spring for the more expensive i5 when the i3 is a great deal cheaper. Is the i5 that much better at playing games when comparing it against its bigger brother?

Isn't there cheaper z77 itx board? Any add-ons you actually need on that particular asus?

I'm not a fan of budget asus, since they cost more for less @ that price point.

I'll just go with i5 with z77, i3 h77 if you are going cheap which I don't recommend.

i5 2500k easily ocs to 4.3ghz and can go to 4.5ghz (I'm fine with my 4.3 lol) The z77 is easy to oc and a perfect board for the price.
