Hi guys,

I own an Nvidia 9400 GT and other specs are shown in my sig. Recently when I was checking youtube, I found this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHkqTwEfukk

In it, the user had the same GPU that I own and a low processor and a ram low in memory. But the gameplay was fast with nice graphics and he said in the description that the game was recorded @ 1440*900 res. I want to if there are are any mods or tools that you know can boost up my gameplay just like the one in the vid. I also guess that the user included realism mod in the gameplay. I'm currently using the norestrictions commandline but it doesnt fasten the game. So please help me! I want to run this @ high!

Okay. First of, the guy uses a replay to make his movie, so his FPS will always be stable (around 30 or so). Secondly, his graphics aren't nice. And no there aren't such mods. The game just requires very powerful PC. I have a most supreme GPU, and a great processor, but dual-cored. With two cores there is no way you can play it on high. I barely play it on medium. The game's just too greedy and doesn't get on well with less than quad-cored CPUs.

It's a replay as previously said, it will always be at a constant frame rate and that is not high, it's pretty much on low with some settings on medium and as that guy said texture filtering on high (it's not a demanding feature and it doesn't make much of a difference) and since the latest patch, high in texture filtering is pretty much on low, now you have anisotropic filtering.

Not true... The game runs at a pretty bad FPS no matter what settings you use... I used the graphic memory unlock and put everything on high with my old PC and it ran just about the same as when I had everything on a mix of med/low at 1920x1080... And my old PC was an 8800GTS 640mb and E6750 @ stock... With only 4gb of RAM...

And it doesn't run much better on my new PC either (Q9550 @ 3.5, 8GB PC8000, GTX 260 Core 216...)... With the same settings, it runs just about the same... Mid 20's fps throughout...

The game just runs bad in general... The port isn't terrible as it is still playable, just very badly optomized...

You may have the point here. Tis a bad port indeed. However I remember playing it on high with 20-25 framerate on a 17" monitor. The monitor's resolution has a great effect too. Now I passed onto a Full HD monitor and I play 20-25 on medium :D

I run it maxed out apart from view distance (slow building spawning related not lag) with textures on high and it runs about 25 fps. So yeah the perfomance is pretty random. I heard there are some configs and texture mods but the results are pretty much random.

My PC has a E6750 overclocked to 3.2Ghz, an 8600GTS overclocked and 2gb of RAM and I run it at 20-25fps with 1024x768 resolution with high textures, low reflection resolution, medium shadows, 50 view distance 45 detail distance and 4x forced AA. Thanks to some little tweaking.

The only way to force AA is using Enseries mod. It's some kind of super-sampling and kills your performance to a ridiculous degree. I have only tried it a bit, but apparently it renders the game in twice the resolution(pixel-wise), then downsize that to your screen resolution for AA effect. It looks amazing, but even with my rig I'll end up lagging with everything maxed out if even x2 AA is on.

First, I thank all you guys for replying and helping me out. Now I want to know whether overclocking my pc will do help with this and can you tell me a good tool which I can use to overclock easily! I'm a bit afraid in overclocking because firstly, I hadn't done it before and I'm afraid whether it will damage my current GPU since my old 7300GS/7200GT!:)
