I'm really enjoying Medieval II: Total War.Berzz
Company of Heroes.thusaha
Civilization IV. It won Gamespot's best of 2005 award along with ign.com's 2005 goty and gamespy's goty.cblx1
Get Dawn of War and it's two expansion Winter Assault and Dark Crusade. You won't be disappointed, well you shouldn't be... Company of Heroes is also fantastic.Four really great suggestions--honestly, these are some of the best strategy titles of the last few years. They also cover a wide variety of gameplay styles, all proven to provide months of addiction. What strategy games have you enjoyed previously?

Rise of Legends. Empire at War. 2 games going against the grain..... And both very good indeed, with Empires being the 4th biggest selling PC game last year.ardyliciousRise of Legends is cool, but I wouldn't describe it as "going against the grain." Aside from its very cool art direction (fantastical settings and factions), it's basically consistent with the already familiar Rise of Nations gameplay model. Enjoyable for sure, but not exactly something new.
You could try Defcon
Panzer General II is older, but a great turn based strategy game that can be bought for little.
