I picked it up yesterday for 4 bucks, I thought it was a steal since the game is worth 20 bucks on Steam at regular price.
Turns out it was a steal, in the sense that if you bought it at ful price, they would pretty much be stealing from you.
9.5? What was Caroline thinking? It's barely 2 hours long with no replay value at all, there is literally no gameplay, it's just walking and picking up notes, before you go "Oh you fool it's a graphic adventure!", I'd like to tell you that I love GA, but that those usually have puzzles and are very, very long games. This one didn't had puzzles and it was extremely short.
The plot was captivating at first because I thought that something horrible had happened to the family, then you begin seeing all of these "lesbian" hints and you feel intrigued to find out more, but once it's confirmed, you pretty much lose interest in the plot.
The ending was completely dumb as well, they are giving you this ending where they expect you to go all "awwwwwww" but when you think about it, the whole ending act wont last for more than 2 days, and then all of that ordeal your sister went through will simply be dismissed as a teenager venting, which happens a lot, and everything will go back to how it was before.
How was this game 20 bucks?, or a 9.5? The fact that the game is so short and costs 20 bucks should have been a straight -2 from the score (seeing as how GS hates games that dont give you your money's worth).
I dont even want to call this a game, it was pretty much an interactive audio book.
