I know there are many users who would have like to see a review of a Pc game by a gamespot editor on a game they enjoyed or would have liked a Pc review for. Here are those I kept in a list that I would have liked a Pc editor to have taken some time and made a review for on Pc. What are yours.

Yes indeed, and their multiplat reviews are lazy... subtract .5 to 1 score to all pc counterparts especially if its delayed or released at a later time.

GS rated it a 9.5 and wrote that it smoked the other platforms, then they gave it GotY for the PC.

You know they would have to pay for those PC versions themselves - the games they've already played - if the publishers of games don't send them free copies.

An honest question would then be why are you posting in this forum? You don't have any PC games in your collection.:)

Here was something I even noticed from the list. Why was many of those free games not reviewed? America's Army 3, Alliance of Valiant Arms, Trackmania nations just seems weird that someone would not have the time to download the game and make a review..of it. Guess its just the nature of the times. It seems weird that even some of those multiplatformers of Sabotuer, Grid, need for speed shift, and even dang Bioshock 2 was never reviewed but have console reviews made. Some Others to Add:

how about gamespot actually REVIEW A GAME, rather than come up with some half-a**ed review (King's bounty the legend review)

We've never insisted on getting free copies of games here at GameSpot (we'll never write that we couldn't review the multiplayer because we only got one copy either - I forget where I read a review like that, but we always just buy more copies), but we have to work with publishers to get copies of games because otherwise we can't get them early.

I quit depending on them for PC reviews when I saw a review of a space combat simulator which got dinged for requiring a joystick and had a high learning curve. I miss the old timer Computer Gaming World people who seemed to have been replaced by then console-focused newbies.

For now Adding Blur to the list. I think it will get reviewed but it might not. The console version reviews have come in so for now i'll post to the list for reference.

Eschalon: Book II

Im not too upset really, the big crossplat games get reviews on 360 for the majority it seems, and the PC exclusive (besides small crappy games no one wants) get reviewed.

I also don't take GS for what it used to be, I still look at reviews, but I go to Metacritic for my final decision on a close call purchase.

It'll be marvelous if Gamespot Editors will post updated video feed impressions/reviews on new content patches or the current condition in mmos.

They have stated sometime ago that they add new annotate as a side note on game reviews but they rarely use it. Most times, once a game comes out, it gets reviewed (if it even gets reviewed on pc) then its forgotten unless its a "Big name" game. At least they finally have backlog reviewed 1 PC game months after its release (plain sight). Hopefully they keep this trend up and continue to review the pc games. If they can review lesser known indie games on console dlc, they should be able to review anything else. We will see in time, if they continue to go back and review games they have missed.
