Game saves

Is there an easy way to let my friend start a new game without deleting my game save? On The Amazing Spider-Man my friend wanted to start a new game but that would delete my current progress. In this situation, what do I do?

Find the save game location, copy the saves into a folder on you PC and then just let him overwrite yours and when you wana play just drag your saves back in and move his out.

Wish they was a better way but that will work.

yeh its a bit tedious but thats the way me and my m8 had to do it for years until the slacker got himself a gaming rig :P . If its a steam game there may be a way to do it with cloud saving or sharing the game, but im not sure.
