Game keeps minimizing

Hi. So, I usually play world of tanks. The game keeps minimizing like about once per hour. I've tracked the task manager processes and could not find anything unusual. I googled this stuff too but they all have unique reasons and solutions and could not find one relate to this situation.

This is a brand new computer, so it's a pretty clean computer. Only dumb shit I downloaded is like youtubedownloader HD and YTD downloader. And I use OMC modpack for world of tanks. So it could be one of these causing the game to minimize but I highly doubt it.

That would be my ATI graphics card. The R9 280...

I also play incredible adventure of van helsing and that game hasn't minimized yet so far but usually the game session only lasts like half hour before i quit the game. So yeah... I r eally do not know if it only happens in world of tanks or any game.

EDIT: Not sure what your asking me? CCC I think is normal because it's my graphics card.

Yeah I know its normal lol, but is the card throttling down and CCC is alerting you by minimizing the game?

Edit; There's a lot of solutions on the WoT forums about the game minimizing, try those first.

@GTR12: Nope it is not alerting me. I don't think the card is throttling down... world of tanks isn't too demanding for r9 280. I run it on 60-70 fps usually.

do you have a 360 controller connected by chance.

I had random minimizing across a couple games, as soon as I unplugged the controller it stopped. I could reconnect it again and not reproduce.

Nope no 360 controller. Lol why would i play world of tanks with 360 controller to begin with? It's like playing starcraft with 360 controller haha.

Not play with a 360 controller, just having it plugged in makes the game act strange.

Eg; Firefox cannot be running when you play WoT, it keeps minimizing itself for no reason at all.

Try play with chrome closed completely, make sure theres nothing running in task manager.

@GTR12: Yeah I have chrome running all the time. But I think I found the issue. It's the modpack I have installed for the game. Not 100% sure though.

I used to be able to play with chrome in the background but ever since the modpack installed, it's been doing that.

Does the game have borderless windowed option?
