The 4 founders of gaming GPU pioneer 3DFX sits down for a chat on the early days of 3D graphics and 3DFX's role. A very rare insight into how 3D Gaming graphics came to be. This company laid the foundation for all the fancy graphics we have today in PCs and consoles. #muchrespect

Interesting stuff if you are graphics fanatic like me. :P

I still remember when I first went 3D graphics (buying one of the second generation 3dfx Voodoo Cards).

I believe the game was Unreal and my eyes just opened wide in amazement.

A few years down the track I sold my 3rd Voodoo card to a friend and the company went down a few months after, lol..... my friend always hated me for that, hehe.

Nice! Thanks for sharing! Voodoo 2 I am guessing? I would have KILLED to get one of those back in 1998. Wish I had one of those even now just to keep a piece of graphics history. It's good that you held onto yours. I had to use a nVidia RIVA 128 which wasn't that bad if you were playing certain games at 640x480, the textures were off a bit and no where near as pretty as a Voodoo 2.

Yes, its Voodoo 2 12MB!!! :P I bought it $150 back in 1998. And its still working after years of usage (5 years I think, after those endless gaming days, it stands on a dead motherboard as a decorative for my bookshelf).

Oh boy I remember getting the Voodoo 3 3000 16mb pci card when I was a kid and was blown away about how good it made Half-Life look.
