For anyone who doesn't have it: Skyrim is $8 and recommended

Just letting people know that Skyrim is only $8 during the Steam Sale.

It takes a while to get into this game but its become one of my favourite games this generation.

There's an endless amount of content to discover in the world.

I paid $80 for the anthology at Wal-Mart. So worth it.

DLC's worth it?

No more DLC, but honestly you will easily get 100 hours in Skyrim without the DLC and there are a gazillion mods out there as well. If you can afford it you can get it all for $20 in the Legendary edition right now on Steam, great deal.

Will it run on my nvidia 5400nvs? (dunno if this is the right place to ask). I was considering it but im not sure if its worth getting if my laptop can only run it on low

Bought this day one and I felt it was one of those few games that were truly worth $59.99. This is highway robbery. Get it if you like Elder Scrolls/Fallout open world games.

If anything the DLCs are worth it as there are some excellent mods that require some of the DLC to function. SkyRe being the biggest example.

So the DLCs are definitely worth it. Dragonborn DLC is solid content in its own right.

I wholeheartedly agree. Skyrim is an amazing game. You can put hundreds of hours in the game and still leave a large amount content untouched. For $8 it's the definition of steal.

If you've already waited this long, I'd say wait a little longer, until the legendary edition is like $15 or less.

Eh.. seriously. Hearthfire and Dawnguard are passable. Just buy the vanilla Skyrim for dirt cheap on steam right now and buy Dragonborn separately if you want more Skyrim. Standard Skyrim = tons of hours already. Can't get greedy, especially at these prices.
