So I install the game through Steam; I've tried with and without the disc. The game patches and finishes installing, and I hit play. A window comes up that has the options 'Install, options and exit.' I click install, and get an error window saying 'Fallout New Vegas does not appear to be installed and the installer could not be found.' I've installed it every different way I can think of, even without the disc, which took 4 hours via downloading from Steam, only to get the same message. This is totally unacceptable, I've spent two days trying to make it work, with no success. Anyone know how to get past this? Cheers.
