Elgato Game Capture No Sound

can someone help me please, i can record gameplays off my ps3 fine with the elgato, ill play the file in VLC, it has video and sound. but when i put it in sony vegas 12 it only has the video and no sound. the file is .TS . how do i fix this? im converting the file in xilisoft converter atm and its really slow..

handbrake might be faster

I've had the same problem when I record gameplay with my elgato I get video but no sound on my computer. I know the sound works on my computer cause audacity works. Anyone know why this is happening?

well i contacted elgato and this is what they said.

We are sorry to hear that you are having audio issues with your Elgato Game Capture HD.

Instead of exporting the raw .ts file, convert and export the video file via the Game Capture HD software to

Sony Vegas in the Sharing section of the Game Capture HD software.

Please let us know if this helps or if more support is needed."
