Dreamfall Chapters:Book One Release Date

October 21st is the release date. Finally we will get to see the story come to an end over the course of the five episodes.

well Finally lol at least an Kickstarter that has kept its promise :D

Can't wait. Dreamfall wasn't much of a game, but the story, the world and the music were mesmerising. Hoping for more of the same, with maybe a little bit extra.

Dreamfall was more of a game than alot of Adventure games released recently. Not that 'much of a game' isnt a bad thing, since all I care about is whether or not something is enjoyable.

But were alot of (easy) puzzles and a surprising amount of stealth bits in Dreamfall iirc.

So is this a sequel or....?

Do I have to have played the other Dreamfalls to follow the story?

Well the last one ended in a cliff hanger so maybe you need to play them but the devs says they are going to make it easy for the new players to get into the story.

They didn't mention April Ryan at all :(

A separate game for April's story was one of the stretch goals during Kickstarter - a stretch goal they didn't meet. My guess is they'll either revisit April if this game succeeds, or incorporate it into the game somehow. Or, you know, they might just conclude her story in the most logically contiguous way from where they last left her, and and leave it at that.
