I have it installed and I used it once after I found my sweet spot in Batman Arkham City and just laughed when the damn thing wanted to max out all of my graphics settings which made the game perform like shit, well not really but way below 60fps, more in the 30's range.
Nah, don't even install it when I update my drivers.
It's good for people that don't want to mess with settings or don't know what those settings mean, and it does an ok job 90% of the time, but I know what I'm doing in the advanced options so I do it manually.
Used it once with rift... it put all setting to max and all the sliders up, then i had massive fps drop when i was in a big fight or world event.
Now i just decide what setting i need as it didnt work out for me..
lol no.
If i can't max out a game i refuse to play it.Simple as that.
That's a bit excessive. Most games look great (and the same as max) with some settings not maxed out.
Yes, I've been using it as of late. It works very well with most games.
Metro Last light was the last game i optimized with it, and it was beautiful... So much so that i didn't even go tinker with the settings.
I just set it myself. Graphics options is something I'd never let something or someone else set for it. I know exactly what settings I would want to turn down if I desired more FPS.
I don't use it other than to update my drivers because I'm lazy like that.
It's great for casual PC gamers. I know what my hardware is capable of since I purchased it for my needs.
I have it installed and use it to update my drivers, but I don't use it to adjust any settings in the games I have installed.
It's one of those custom options i immediately "unchecked" every time I install new geforce drivers. I'd prefer to do things manually on my on terms, all the time.
Yep, along with all the 3D bullsh*t.
I remember using it once and frames dropped to 40 down from 60 because of that ... not gonna bother using it again. If you're 10 years old though and don't know how to configure your settings and your daddy isn't around then yeah, probably it would be helpful.
I do. It's a good way to get automatic driver updates, but other than that, I don't use its other functions.
I tried it out but it seemed kinda pointless unless you know little about how certain settings impact performance. That may change in the future with new features such as shadow play: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/10/18/geforce-experience-adding-game-capture-features-twitch-streamin/ (looks very interesting)
