I've installed D2 on a widescreen laptop, so of course it looks stretched. Is there a way to get it to run ina window?

Using XP 64 bit (yes it runs on my system).

Just add " -w" to Diablo 2 shortcut.

Should look like this: "C:\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w

Do you have a print screen to what size it is?

You can only adjust the window (if you can at all in that game) by changing the resolution. It will display the same pixel size as the desktop, so 640x480 will be a smaller window than 800x600.

You make it bigger by putting into 800x600 by running it as: "Diablo II.exe" -w -res800
