Requirements appear slightly steep. DayZ is an unoptimized piece of shit and my old ATI 5850 + Core2Duo can run that game on high settings. It's also 100x bigger and probably has better textures.

DX9? Thought it would recommend DX10 at least

Well at least I am way above the recommended specs.

Since when is a HD 5870 not better than a HD 6870 and GTX 465 and not way better than the supposed equivalent 9800 gt? This makes no sense at all, any ideas

Maybe was meant to be 3870 or 4870?

Yep very bizarre, how is the 5870 equal to the 9600GT? It's better than a 470...

They have probably just looked at the names and so led to 6870 being stronger than 5870. Or it is as nutcrackr says

Yeah the 5870 is actually stronger than the 6870.

It will be the 3870 probably, that's about what a 9600 gt can do. Those minimum requirement will look ugly though.

Given that they openly admitted that they didn't know shit about PC, this is slightly forgivable.

Nice, it will run without any problems, but I hope the game itself will be worthy of the name; the change of director worries me, hopefully it will have all the subtlety like its predecessor. Haven't really seen any gameplay for maximum immersion :)
