I've tried everything I can think of, the RAM is rated 2133Mhz but no matter what I seem to do I cannot get it to post, any ideas?

Wouldn't even matter...

If you can provide us the actual specs of your ram, make model.

Just keep it at 1600 Mhz. You might have to increase the latency on your RAM if you want a higher frequency or up the voltage, which on RAM, I rather not.

All my 8 RAM sticks are rated at 2133 Mhz but I run them at 1600Mhz with my 3930k. It is unstable at 2133Mhz. If I wanted 1866Mhz, I had to increase the voltage a tad bit and increase the latency. I said nah to this.

So I lowered the freq to 1600 Mhz and even lowered the latency to lower than the RAM sticks market themselves at.

When you go into RAM settings in BIOS.. Is there no XMP profiles or something like that you have to enable to get to run at advertised speed?

That's not really the point.

It's advertised at 2133. It should be as simple as selecting the xmp profile.

@nyadc: You on the latest bios version?

Like all people said. Enable XMP.

If it doesn't go to 2133, just send them back as DOA.

And if as you said it doesn't move from 1600Mhz, this smells defective from miles away...

Okay I finally got it, I had the F12 bios which is the newest non-beta version for my board. I created a bootloader for MS-Dos to update to the beta UEFI bios, did everything like I did before and it worked, thank you everyone who offered advice, much appreciated.
