A) I wouldn't buy XFX GPU, of course it's cheap.
B) It's reference GPU, which means stock cooler, no one buys this sh^t anymore.
C) I wouldn't get 290X at all, just buy 290 by Sapphire Tri-X for 260£ including VAT (that's 40£ cheaper and a better brand) and OC it.
@PredatorRules: Such a negative nelly.
Nothing wrong with XFX, reference are fine if you have good airflow and where are you finding 290's @ £260?

I disagree about the reference, you actually will need a case with side panel airflow so it would not overheat that much, plus you're talking about one of the hottest GPUs on the market.
In my case antec 900 no side fan but it has 4 fans, i just ran furmarks 10 mins and temp stops at 81 degrees with fans speed % 72, i set it to fan speed curve so it 10 point behind the temp, and i is quite loud but i can live with it. but yeah it would be nice if it was cool and quiet

Buying reference cards is a good move if you plan to install the NZXT G10 and some custom heatsinks for the VRM, im planning on doing that.
In that case I'd get the cheapest brand as well, you're talking about replacing the whole cooling system, it is cool, I might think of that on my next build, thanks for reminding me stuff like that are sold (not in my country but I can always order one) =)

It has life time warranty. I would choose that over the other brands. What if it dies after 2 years of use? Other makers won't cover that.

Life time warranty on a GPU? if that was true I think everyone would replace their GPUs into XFX GPUs ASAP.
Plus you're most likely replace your GPU after 2-3 years anyway.

Well that's what they say. I have seen reviews where XFX responded to customer claims after thier GPU stopped working beyond 2 years.

I remember when BFG has the lifetime warranty.
My friend bad an old BFG 8800GTX which lasted only 3 years and BFG replaced it with a GTX 280 for free.
Sadly BFG went out of business in 2010.
