Can't connect to certain websites...

Here's a doozy - I can't connect to tgwtg.com or metal-archives.com. Every other web site works. When trying to browse to these sites, I simply get a "website not available" error. I've tried restarting my internet, clearing cache and cookies, different browsers, locating the site by IP instead of domain, etc. - nothing works. I can plain as day see the site is up using webtools like "Is this site down?". I can ping the sites in question in my cmd prompt, but I simply can't use a browser to view them.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you

What's your isp? Could just be a temporary routing issue.

It's not a dns issue if you can't connect via ip.

Comcast. I can ping via IP so I can obviously make some sort of connection. Just can't connect within my browser. Does that mean anything? I've never had this problem before in my life, so a temporary issue on Comcast's behalf could be possible, but I don't find it likely.

EDIT: The solution to my problem was changing the MAC address on my router, changing my Comcast IP.

You were ip banned or your address block. I don't know why websites ban ip addresses when all it does is mess other people up.
