I have an Abit AX8 Mobo and I am trying to install Windows Vista by booting from the DVD (rather than upgrade). I set up the boot order in the bios so that the CDROM is first, so there shouldn't be problems. I also made sure the master/slave settings are correct, and have tried booting from two separate DVD Writer drives. I'm going nuts here! Any suggestions on what I can do would be greatly appreciated.
