Well since your on a laptop you wont be able to upgrade, you should be able to play skyrim with a mix of low and medium settings.

I'm gonna say no because of the GPU. You need a proper video card to play Skyrim.

Thanks for the help while I was waiting I did some more research and I found out that on low settings I would be able to run it with around 29 fps and if I decided to set it on medium I would get around 16-19 fps which is far from ideal but at least if I ran it on low settings I would not experience a lag.

Did you try checking on Can You RUN It website? That'll probably give you a better gauge as if you can it ok. Just type in/scroll down to find Skyrim and see what the test tells you. With gaming on a laptop, this site I practically keep it bookmarked and I don't buy anything unless I know it passes.

Yeah I tried it but I found it to be unreliable because I did a test run on it with a game I currently run with a mix of high and medium settings and it told me I was unable to run it.

That website is seen as notoriously unreliable around here.

nah, Skyrim's playable on my Lenovo U310 ultrabook and it has a low voltage Ivy Bridge chip. It doesn't look good, but its playable.

To answer your other question, nothing can be upgraded since its a laptop. So you can play it at low or medium settings @ 1280x720. At least that's what I can pull off on my laptop.

GPU performance is still around the same speed. You are not going to have a cpu bottleneck with that gpu.

Here, run this tool from System Requirements Lab and it will tell you whether or not you meet the minimum or recommended specifications and can run the program.

lol no ssytemrequirementslab is made by a bunch of morons and is 100% useless on a laptop, an amd APU based desktop or a desktop with a motherboard graphics chip of any sort. 100% unreliable. but they dont disclaim that anywhere. canyourunit is also guilty of this crime.

The answer is yes, but on very low. The processer is fine, but it's not a proper gpu. Now I hope you didn't want to play FC3 on that PC, because you have as much chance of that running on that as you do of finding the boogeyman under your bed tonight.
