Because it isn't even in alpha yet. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter it is a way to get games funded to be made. You gotta have some faith and put up money if you want the game to become reality.

Yeah i know kickstarter, but his description of the game is a bit foggy, unlike let say Stat Citizen

He is counting on former Dark Age of Camelot fans here, we know what he means when he talks about everything. Look up Daoc if you are not familiar with it and that will give you a good idea as to what kind of game this will be based on. It is purely RvR, no pve.

If you could build structures and work together in RvR that would be pretty much the only game I played, barring the combat is atleast average

Daoc and Warhammer both had very fun combat, so I would expect the same from this game.

Yea I loved it. I quit after 3 months along with 1 million others, but came back after they fixed it up and played for 2 years. They eventually killed it with the skaven patch and changed everything. By that time Jacobs was long gone though.

/bump http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/13861848/camelot-unchained http://camelotunchained.com/en/category/foundationalprinciple/?orderby=date&order=asc The concepts sound great. It's too bad that the information is somewhat scattered. But RvR-centric, major role for crafters, and limited PvE (no PvE loot drops, grinding, etc).

Yea the only problem is it might be a niche game since it is pvp only. People don't understand though it is not open world pvp, you fight as an army vs. two other armies. You fight for realm pride more than anything else. RvR that is fun enough to not need a grind or a carrot.

I hope people realize they don't pay on kickstarter unless the goal is met. Too many still think this is a gamble. It is a gamble if you are worried about the quality of the game, but you won't lose your money if it is not funded.
