So I'm just looking for advice from more experienced PC builders on whether or not my build so far is good. The main usage for the pc would be moderate gaming (LoL, CS:GO, etc...), schooling and general internet use. Should I upgrade any of the components? Will the integrated graphics card on the CPU be enough for my gaming needs and if wanted will it be able to decently run more demanding games? Are all the components compatible with each other?

btw ncix does have the cougar archon case http://www.ncix.com/detail/cougar-archon-atx-middle-tower-a5-95088-1449.htm[2] making the total $407.35

Thanks in advance

Looks like an APU build and I have always been a fan of these. I built one for my mom and it runs games rather smoothly... That being said you may want to look into something like a FX6300 and a dedicated GPU to see the price difference. Even something like a 7770 is better than most APU builds. The 7770 would run those games maxed out.

There are more people on this site that can give you advice, but that's my two cents.

EDIT: I love the colour scheme of the case you've chosen but the cooling options are limited there, wiered place for a window? and my case comes with 2 fans already included (1 front intake, 1 rear exhaust) while your case only includes 1 fan.

I would say spend more get an i5 and a dedicated GPU, I'd also get a 7200rpm HDD. Right now you're only thinking about now, what about 2 years down the road?

@zaku101: My tight budget doesn't have that much room for a dedicated gpu, but after more research I came up with this... http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/wienz/saved/rJKscf/ , I'd be able to upgrade to a dedicated gpu in the future if needed. What do u think?

@PredatorRules: Hey came up with a possible build with the x4 860k , http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/wienz/saved/cDtLrH . What do you think? I chose the gpu becasue it was cheaper, and it has 2gb instead of 1gb. Does the x4 860k need any faster ram than 1600 and is 4gb sufficient for my usage? also I know my case has only one fan, but I will be having the pc in a rather cold basement and if needed I can still purchase an extra front fan. Compared to a similar priced build with the a8 7600 would you think its better http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/wienz/saved/cDtLrH ? btw sorry for all the questions, seeing as your a top poster I have respect for your advice.

Get dual channel RAM dimms, you'll benefit more.

260X is good GPU for it's price, but it makes more heat and takes more power than GTX750.

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/WC2VLk I've edited it a bit a mix of my build with yours, changed the RAM for faster dimms (cas 8, 1600Mhz) dual channel and GTX750Ti 2Gb which again will make less heat and take less power.

Loved the hybrid HDD.

EDIT in case you'll need a CPU cooler to fit into the budget (a good CPU cooler) this is a different build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/rymkbv exactly the same price, removed the hybrid HDD, changed to cheaper MOBO and added the CPU cooler, since it's your 1st PC build I don't recommend on stock CPU cooler because they don't vent the heat that good, especially when gaming or using the CPU heavily and I heard many complains that it's very loud.

@PredatorRules: its not the ideal price I was looking for but http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/wienz/saved/cDtLrH seems to be perfect for me, I added your suggested CPU cooler, kept the hybrid and changed the ram (9cas and 1600Mhz) since your suggested one wasn't available from ncix. My only concern is the ram is that will 1600Mhz be good enough for the processor other than that I could always add another 4gb if necessary

Well for the games you want to play is plenty of RAM, but yeah if you plan on playing other games too and you'll want to add another 4Gb of RAM sure.

Go ahead with this build.

Speed of RAM is almost none conciderable by gamers, ther're so few games that actually benefit from fast RAM that's it's not worth going for faster clocks.
