Bridging Graphics Cards?

I know what it is. My question is what advantages does it do? Like do you get less frame drops and frame spikes?

Ya sorry should of been more specific. I ment like using SLI. What advantages does it do? Like say I have a GPU that I can get max 60fps on battlefield and I use SLI and hook up the same GPU would that give me double fps or just more consistent fps? Also, is having a CPU with built in graphics card better than a CPU without it?

SLI will give you generally give you (depending on the game and CPU) 50 - 100% more fps, though 100% is very rare. You also get higher minimum fps which in course gives a more consistent feel to the fps.

CPU's with GPU's on chip e.g i7 3770K are fine for very basic gaming and video playing but ultimately not need except for a backup if you have a discrete graphics card.

Sometimes you'll gain double fps, other times it's going to be 150% fps increase.

EDIT: about the CPU, you can game on it's HD integrated graphics but only some games on low graphics if at all, it's better to buy actual GPU.

They're getting slightly better each generation. Still only basic though.
