Oblivion was fun in the beginning, but it got boring with all the walking etc. It just felt empty at the end and the regions felt all the same. But some people enjoy walking around doing hardly anything. I would say look into EverQuest - it was the first PC game I ever played in 1997 and it's still coming out with expansions. A lot of the casual folks left for World of Warcraft but both have good populations of people. One is more serious and the other is more entertaining for children and up. It actually made EverQuest a better game now that all the annoying people are out. All of them are great but it's up to you to experience what's fun. Truth is they all are but each have its ups and downs.
