Benchmark Thread - How do you rank against other GS users?

I was running 4.5GHz @ 1.26 which is surprisingly pretty good!

After installing my second 780 Ti, temps went up a bit (I didn't feel comfortable with them). Two GPUs are an oven. So I clocked it down to 4.4GHz and my temps are amazing again!

Here are the results of two 780 Tis & 4670K @ 4.4GHz. I am very pleased :)

After all.. I decided, I'm gonna keep my 4670K. I thought about it and 4770K isn't worth it. It's almost the same thing as 4670K and I am pretty sure, there's no bottleneck @ 4.4GHz. I think, I'd be fine @ 4.2GHz.

Damn you @insane_metalist

Damn you straight to HELL! with your stupid, rubbish Ti's.

Hmpf.....

I don't like seeing the 80's with my gpu's though summer gets really hot here >.<
What is the vcore for 4.4? I ask because mine peaks at 1.249 (according to cpu z) and I have it set to 1.25 via bios.

Did you honestly score 17K points with the two 780's?

Don't think I like your tone young man!

Of course I did. The link is there.

I hit the 17000's many times but that was the highest so far

Edit: @darksusperia Don't worry bout changing my name in the list, I've done it.

New Phone :D

This is the Ice Storm Unlimited test as my phone maxed out the extreme test.

This is the Ice Storm Unlimited test as my phone maxed out the extreme test.

And there goes my top spot on the phone board.

Ah well, I did have it for like 6 months.

Are you really that awesome???? I don't think so :P

@horgen: My cards are also great!

why you always get good things?

What do you mean?

The 680s you had overclocked well and you run a 3770K at 4.7... With what voltage again?

1.356v but It wont clock any higher. It's crap, and my 680's were pretty average really.

It's all in the wrist.

^Don't complain, my 4770k needs 1.35v for 4.3 ghz :p

My S5 only gets 18229, hmm. Wonder why that is, it has a more powerful CPU.

iPad won't post here it seems...

@klunt_bumskrint: I believe that is lower than what my 3570K needs at that speed. However my 680 OC better than yours... Thanks to water cooling. Maybe if I increased the power draw limit and voltage it would go even higher. :P

@Postmortem123: Damn, that is terrible. Thought the 4770K needed less voltage than the 3770K in general.

#1173 Posted by Postmortem123 (7640 posts) -

Yep i think i got the worst 4770k in the world.

Intel should have made sure it wasn't released as a K version. -_-

Here are my scores for my Mythlogic P370EM laptop with Intel 3740QM - 2700Mhz core - 4090 turbo clocked, dual ATI 7970M - 900/1450 clock speeds, 8 Gigs of 1833 RAM.

Firestrike - 8367 - Firestrike Benchmark

Cloudgate - 25350 - Cloudgate Benchmark

I think those numbers are pretty darn good for a gaming laptop. What do you all think?

#1177 Posted by Horgen (110055 posts) -

It beats my firestrike score... running only a single GTX 680 though...

I have a pretty bad 4670K... I know your feel. I love over clocking my CPU and watching my benchmark numbers go up but Haswell is a b****.

4.2Ghz... But not fully stable. I keep it at 4Ghz now.

That said its still performs like a rock at 4Ghz.

That equal Ivy Bridge at 4.2 or 4.3 doesn't it?

I'm not entirely sure but maybe.

I know that I got a lower Pyshics score with my 2500k at 4.4Ghz on 3Dmark than I do with my 4670K at 4.2. Not sure how that would translate to a Ivy i5.

Must need a crazy high voltage to go higher. Mine was pretty solid at 4GHz, I don't know how far this actually goes, I may test it when I get a better cooler.

I'm not surprised... Well it should be somewhere in the middle there... Remember hearing that a Ivy at 4.5 should be equal a Sandy at 4.7-4.8.

New one to add to the list

i7 4770k @ 4.3 GHz, GTX 780ti 1020/1085 boost

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/3043571

Nothing to write home about, compared to others but I've not really messed about with the graphics card

#1190 Edited by Horgen (110055 posts) -

@superclocked: Your CPU must be holding you back in this benchmark. If you are running the GPU at 1.2 and memory at 6.4 you should beat my score from my GTX680 which is also heavily OC'ed. At least if you are beating a stock 7970.

@GarGx1: Have you ever watched TinyTomLogans review for OC3D.net? He won the silicon lottery with his 4770K... Running at 5GHz with a voltage at 1.282. :P Otherwise your score is good. Getting close to GTX680 sli I think.

#1191 Posted by superclocked (5823 posts) -

@horgen: Yeah, the physics score and combined score factor into it, too. But, my graphics score is still over 9000, which is pretty good considering the price of my system...

Its just a benchmark... The 780 Ti doesn't need to be tested, you pretty much know its a beast.

My i5 and 780Ti can't break 1100... But if you overclock that GPU by another 100-150Mhz I am certain you can get it past 12000 on firestrike.

Nope I'm okay with them, they actually aren't as loud as people say. Not much louder than the 780 Ti.
