To celebrate their anniversary Bohemia Interactive is giving away Arma: Cold War Assault (Cold War Crisis) for free on Steam Until Monday as well as having an 80% off sale on all of their games. You can also play ARMA 3 for free throughout the weekend.

Played a bit of the campaign for ARMA 3. Yep, pretty hardcore

Aside from dipsy run animations, it's aged well and plays great.

Operation Flashpoint is still a great game to this day,regardless of the dated visuals.

Arma games are boring unoptimized messes

The game's pretty old, you'd have to have one hell of a crappy PC for its optimization to make any negative impact on your experience. The game is actually really good.

OFP: Cold War Crisis (and the Resistance expansion) is one of the best campaigns for a military style shooter..EVER !! (if not the best)

Yes, CWC and Resistance are my favorite campaigns of all of the Arma/OFP series.
