I come across this when browsing. If you didn't know already (like me) Area 51 is free.

Cuz if it's Area 51, I recommend it to everyone who likes shooters, I loved that game :P

Haven't played Blacksite, but from what I've seen it seems pretty crappy.

The opinions seem to be quite divided. I'd say it wasn't bad but nothing special either.

Judging by the file size it's indeed Area 51 though the screenshot looks more like Blacksite. Not that I ever played Blacksite but I don't remember seeing any such creature in Area 51 (which I didn't finish, got bored with it at some point)

Yea, I got confused aswell.

There is no such thing in Area 51 yet the size looks as if it IS Area 51 o.0

Area 51 was a great shooter to play if you had the tme -- I beat it several times on my PS2 and I downloaded on the PC to play it again, only to find it won't start up. :( Ah well, I at least have counterstrike. :)

Just checked, it's Area 51 (not Blacksite: Area 51), it's free cause it's sponsored by the US Air Force. Both game scored badly though, so I'm not interested.

Well the game play is sorta like that it feels very like a on the rails shooter you move up to a point you and your team mates stop shoot up a wave of aliens or changed humans go to the next point do it again.

was a good game for sure, played to the end, some interesting elements and environments, worth playing thanks for the news

my feelings toward blacksite area 51 can be summed up like this... and its strictly "for your own good"

If you follow the OP's link and go to FilePlanet, it list the actors from the game... from the original Area 51 game, but the image on the page is from Blacksite... isn't it? This is all very confusing.

The first Area51 wasn't to bad, quite enjoyed it.
