Saw this in my steam queue and I kinda wanna cop it. Is it worth it? Are people playing this online still? I don't care if its a massive community, just big enough so that its fun and matches get set up quickly.

I re-installed it a few months ago. I found my old CD and entered the Key into Steam and presto! It worked. Anyhow, I've never had trouble finding a match when I felt the urge to play. Is it swarming with players? Nope, but who cares as long as you can find a game and have fun when you want to.

Sadly, I think UT99 & UT2004 have more active communities these days than UT3 Black.

I never saw a problem with it and thought it was fine. UT99 was definitely better though.

I picked up a copy of Toxikk and it feels like UT99 on crack, I like it. Its still in the early release stages, but what they do release is well finished and polished and not a buggy pos like other early release titles.

Not many seem to be playing nowadays. You can find deathmatch and TDM games, but not the other modes. Which is a shame. The game is awesome. It's like UT99 and not like that 2004 crap.
