i want to get my lady friend a great gaming pc, but i've always hated the actual assembly part...

i mean i've built my last two/upgrades a long the way. and it always makes me sweat bullets and worry about the whole thing..and then for days after its up and running

so is there anyone out on the internet that can just build one from selected parts for a reasonable price?

i've always found that most prebuilts are crazy over priced for what you're getting

Check your local computer stores, some should offer to assemble it for a fee of course.

That's the price I'd be offering my customers (and I love to build PCs)

i buy from them all the time and they deliver every time. I put my own pc together but i would definitely go with them if i wanted to save time and let them do it.

Only negative thing about them is they don't offer free shipping unlike amazon or bestbuy/futureshop

I had one built by Cyberpower PC years ago. They are pretty good and the price is ok. I would recommend them.

I have had IBuyPower and CyberPower custom builds back in the day (6-10 years ago). I would NOT recommend either. They cheap out with off-brand parts to save money unless you pay extra for name brand. And both of them had failures of various parts within a year. One the PSU failed and had no overvolt protection and fried half a dozen parts. The other had a crap video card, CPU cooler, and wiring job. That's just my 2 cents.

I read that Cyberpower had some issues 5+ years back. Their customer service rating has gone up quite a bit. (There was an article in PC Gamer Mag) They only use the parts you want them to. Want a certain aftermarket cooler on your GTX 780ti? They will make sure that is the one you get. I did get a loud PSU from them but I got a replacement in a timely manner.
