Anno 2070 activation limit?

Hi it says that anno 2070 you can only activate it 3 times. Is this only 3 machines on your own or 3 separate machines?. So your just buying a 3 time rental if you uninstall it 3 times?.

I find that strange as it's linked to your Uplay account? I can't imagine there is a limit on the amount of machines you can install it to. I'll be trying to install it on my 4th system in a week or 2 so I'll report what happens.

Ya that game came out with some absolutely horrid DRM. If I remember correctly the game is only able to install on three machines.

No guys, it means that if you uninstall the game, you then you change a part of your PC, and then remove/install the game, it will deduct one activation, you can use the same key on one PC only, for 3 times if you only remove hardware/reinstall the game/format PC. But you can ask for new activation or to unlock it from their support team. And if the game is linked to your steam/uplay account then you shouldnt worry about this at all. it will reinstall without problems.

Thanks all. Cant wait to see what happens bulby :D. But took the plunge and bought the complete edition on amazon for £17 so not bad deal compared to steam £40. But Shatilov hope your right :D.
