85C is normal for a 6990 with a stock cooler. But the bitfenix prodigy itx can support two front two top and one rear fan so might as well fill them up for best cooling. Now gpu temps can affect motherboard temps if the gpu cooler throws heat into the case creating a pocket of hot air. But as long as you have good case cooling its not an issue.

My 5450 got up to ranges of 90 while raping or playing dues ex human revolution on lowest settings at 800x600 hahaha.

The card still works fine now in one of my other pc builds that's not used for gaming

Someone report this man to the police right away. He has admitted having (without consent) sexual intercourse with a graphic card that should under normal circumstances find itself inside the case of a computer. This is absolutely outrageous!!! :P

That 5450 must have screamed no if you wanted to watch a fHD movie as well I guess.

I can only apologize for ever using that card, it was before I knew anything about PC gaming and I literally bought the first card I seen in Maplin assuming it would be ok, extremely ignorant of me lol.

It was in a pretty small case with bad airflow already behind a desk in a hot room, back then I didn't really understand PC gaming and the care you need to take with cooling. It was the fan-less silent edition too.

That card is in a PC my mother uses to play farmville on facebook, that's the cards only purpose now, GPU hell ?
