So my birthday is coming up and my wife has asked me what i want, duh obvious choice is a game. So i really want Test Drive Unlimited BUT i have no internet connection at home. Apparantly you can still play it offline.
So would you guys reckomend i buy it or should i rather go for Rainbow Six Las Vegas. I like both racing and FPS/Shooters equally.
so i can decide, pls let me know what you would do.:shock:
How soon is your bday? If you want a single player focused game, I'd suggest asking for STALKER (comes out 20th). R6:Vegas is definitely geared towards online....The SP game is decent, but I don't think I'd pay $50 for *just* the SP.
I agree about Stalker, it's set for release on the 23rd here by us (South Africa)... it looks very promising, have it pre-ordered allready... :)
R6 Vegas is cool (my brother has it), but it's a bit short lived without the MP. Test Drive Unlimited looks promising as well and it does seem to support online-less play just fine (confirmation, any one?)... I would say Stalker or even RE4 for PC:)  Â
Erm.....A very big *No* on RE4 for PC. Besides not having mouse support, it actually looks *worse* compared to the GC version. It's a horrible port, I wouldn't pay $1 for it.

I got RE4 yesterday and I love it... I believe it is best on the GC and the PC port does require some "fixing", but it's the best Resident Evil on PC as yet and it feels and plays like RE... it's great fun:)
Dit is die 10de maart maatjie... Stalker yeah that i forgot about, ok think i'll get that. Resident Evil is selling for R181 at Take2.co.za. I have never played any of the RE games but did like the movies.
