How will it perform well on my setup im gonna add anothere gig of ram making it 2gig of ram will it perform well? in your guys view or will it bottleneck my pc.

Its gona boost your performance, but that processor change wont do much.

so truelly theres no point in processor changer and i heard the 8800 lineup does the cpu work instead of useing the actull pc cpu is this true.

No, with a better CPU youll have better performance.

No, with a better CPU youll have better performance.

so with 3.4ghz you think its worth upgradeing to that? and as for the 8800gts it wont bottle neck at current setup but with 2 gigs of OCZ ram?

In my opinion no, i would go for core duo 2.
The only bottlenecking is your cpu.

atm i dont have the cash to upgrade to a new mobo or cpu ect. in December ill be building a Quad Core Intel!!!! but for now i just wanna get a DirectX10 card and later get Core 2 duo like you said but then i shouldent even upgrade my cpu just leave it then later on upgrade to core2 duo or Quadcore liek you said.

i also saw that theres a 8800gts 320mb coming i was thinking about that but i wanna get something highend for now that way i can just switch it out to my new pc when i build it.

Fo sho man, Pentium D's suck. If you can save up for a E6300 and OC, or a E6400 and OC. Cause thatll be some major bottle neckage, but then again, its pointless if your getting a quad-core..

He said it's pointless in saving up for a dual core if the guy's getting a quad core not long after that.

What processor do you have now? Just get a crappy Pentium 4 to last you until an E6600. :P
