7600GS power cables!!!!

My 7600gs, can it run with one power cable? theres slots for two on the adaptor thing, I was wondering if ones a backup or something like that

uh wtf? I think you mixed up and refering to twin DVI outlets arent you? theres only one aux power plug in all cards ive seen.

I think he means the adapter to turn molex plugs into a PCI-E plug. And yes, you do need to plug in both the 4 pin plugs from your PSU into it, otherwise your gfx card won't get enough power.

A 7600GS shouldn't even need a the 6 pin power connector.  It doesn't use more than the 75W supplied by the PCIe slot.

No. I'd get at least a 350watt and perferbly a 450watt. Try the power supply i have in my sig.

Maybe, but I wouldn't risk it.  Get a good 350W PSU or better.

how about 350W...well...i asked the computer guy he said u need atleast 400-450W to power the card...

No, you don't.  I don't know who this guy is, but he's wrong.

With that in mind, you still want to get a good PSU.  Something like FSP (Fortron Source), Antec, Enermax, PC&C (pc power & cooling), or SeaSonic.  There are other good names, too.  The best thing to do would be to check reviews.
