X-Men: Days of Future Past Official Trailer 2 Revealed.

Looks ok.

I really liked the Yukio character in "The Wolverine". I guess she wont be appearing or even explained. Way better than shitty Hall Berry returning. Likewise Rebecca Romijn probably wont be explained or how Wolverine got his adamantium back after a shitty looking CGI samurai chopped em off. According to Stinger we are suppose to presume Magneeto sorted it out. But eh. Not a big deal.

Sort of look like they redesigned Jennifer Lawrence custom. Looks more sleek.

*yawns* more superhero sequels. Ant Man and Guardians of the Galaxy can't come soon enough.

I think this looks good. Probably be one of the better X titles.

Finally get to see some ice slides. I think it'll be another wasted opportunity. Sure it'll make some big coin, but it'll probably be a tad better than X3. I like the premise, but I don't believe Singer has enough talent to make it truly memorable. I also want more Colossus. And Kitty.

I mean let's be fair, Days of Future Past is one of the best comic book storylines in X-Men (arguably in comics). Now it's certainly worrying that they seem to be taking some liberties with the storyline, but if anything this should be one of the most anticipated comic book movies.

Stinger was one of the main guys who raised the quality of superhero movies and made them not terrible like most of those pre-2000 ones.

And yet he gave us Superman Returns and was involved in Origins: Wolverine. How long is he going to ride the X2 wagon? First Class was decent enough, even then, the cast was overly bloated.

My friend, everyone had low moments. . Akira Kurosawa (dteam) Steven Spielberg (Peter Pan) David Lynch (Dune). It doesn't mean we disregard all other works or the talents involved as shit. Also I disagree about First Class, compared to something like TDK, it manages characters much better (with more of them).

Movie looks fantastic. I'm still more excited for Guardians of the Galaxy but this still looks great!

First Class was easily my fav X-Men film and is in general one of my favorite superhero movies. They really perfectly cast that movie and I am really excited to see those actors return to reprise their roles.

Fassbender as young Magneto is just sooooo damn fantastic!

I'm intrigued. Wasn't crazy about the first 3 movies or any of the Wolverine adaptations but I did like first class and this looks promising.

"The Wolverine" had a cool concept behind it using real world events (like Magneeto). The first 2/3 is good but the ending with the shitty CGi sucked. Hopefully DOFP doesn't descend into that bullshit.

@BluRayHiDef: Couldn't agree more about the overuse of Wolverine in the films, he's a great character, but spread the wealth! Maybe, just maybe, the trailers are cut to emphasize Wolverine for the average person out there who doesn't care enough about the series, but just loves that Hugh Jackman chap. Doubtful, but you never know.

Disagree somewhat. While he is pretty much the main character. the other characters are important and do get decent screen time. Disagree as well about the tone of the trailer, particularity the Jennifer Lawtence morphing comment and superman returns.

The character of Raven (mystique) is relatively positive in the first movie. From the jist of the trailer and clips the character becomes more like Rebecca Romijn's version as a seductive/spy/assassin type character. In pretty much every Xmen movie shes in she has that sort of morphing type scene.

The difference as well with Superman Returns is that fuckall happens to really justify the tone. Story-wise and thematically the movie will start with many main characters dying and the "mutants" almost non existent with the first class portion essentially a Sam Becket quantum leap type thing.

Fingers crossed. Let this be a return to form for the X.
