What? What is this? Some kinda sequel to Clash of the Titans? You can't have a sequel to clash of the titans. Money grab, im calling it now.

Looks like a "meh" movie but I might see it when I feel like kicking back and watching mindless action.

I'd rather play God of War.

the 1981 one. The remake was okay but it didn't live up to the original.

The new one has no soul/ emotion. It is just a mindless action flick, whose action sequences aren't even inspiring, but just dull. If you're going to make a big budget action flick with a ton of CGI, you need to at least make sure that they have a soul.

Maybe it's just the nostalgia factor. I remember watching clash of the titans when I was a kid. Thought the clockwork owl was the coolest thing ever and those claymation scorpions were awesome.

THats just it, the old one was more or less around the same lines.. Its not like they had a lot of material to work from based off the original.

I disagree. The original one to this day is much more enjoyable.

It might depend on what you saw first. I, like you, prefer the original. The '81 version took a lot of creative liberties with the myth, and the remake could have gone a new direction. Instead, you get regurgitated regurgitation with the remake.

The only reason to watch this movie is because of Liam playing as Zeus.. That is pretty much it for me.sSubZerOo

Uh, this was always going to be a trilogy. Sam W said that after fan response from the first film that they were taking that feedback to try and make the second film better. And I want to see Bill Nighy and Liam Neeson.

What I didn't get from the first one is why did Zeus tell all of the other gods to leave so he could give the order to release the kraken? I mean, it's not like all the other gods aren't gonna be like "OMG, who in the world (ahem, olympus) could have done that even though the only one who can give such an order is Zeus! IDKKKKKK!!!!!"
