Nah. Quebec is never leaving us.

We don't need the money yet.If Canada had CA, and it was going to legalize pot, it would have to be legal in Canada. So? We'd make it legal. Most want that now it's just we have the Conservatives in power and well, they're big fans of arresting people.[QUOTE="Ace6301"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] It's not legal in Canada....Pirate700

Nah because the Liberal States of America would become a socialist utopia, free from all disease and health issues, technologically advanced beyond all others, and the most powerful economy in existence.
The Conservative States of America will become a literal reproduction of the Middle East. Â Religious fundamentalism mixed with natual resource reserves.
The Conservatives would be jealous of our liberty and freedom and thus would resort to extremism. Â We would be forced to invade Texas to protect our oil interests. Â It will be ugly.

The Conservative States of America would end up like Gilead in "The Handmaid's Tale". Minorities and women treated like property, not people, closed borders, regressive and reactionary laws.
I exaggerate some, but the way the the GOP puts up anti-abortion laws, promotes and anti-gay and anti-women agenda, it's not far off.
It's not legal in Canada....It might as well be, to be honest. The Feds don't even go after users anymore. i'm still amazed that in the authoritarian place we call the U.S. we actually have weed legal in two states and all before you guys too![QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Ace6301"] Legalize marijuana and tax it. ??? So you wouldn't have supported america becoming an independant country then.Separatism in response to an oppressive genocidal ruling majority (South Sudan)? Sure, I'd support that.
Separatism in response to "boo-hoo, my candidate didn't win"? No.

I'd like to see what Puerto Ricans think. They have the choice to either become independent or remain a US Commonwealth. There's even some who are pushing for full statehood and become the 51st state.
Yeah, but only if you get to move to where your views line up the most. Also all California has to do to solve all of it's debt problems is follow Colorado and promote marijuana tourism. Conservative estimates suggest that if California would legalize, they stand to gain 100 to 200 billion dollars in tax revenue and that doesn't even include the trickle down effects of huge marijuana related business opening and creating a ton of jobs. The governor that finds the spine to get the ball rolling on this (as Colorado has by embracing becoming a huge tourism destination as a result of legalization) will be considered a hero.Â
