Since both would give me a stupidly long lifespan I choose neither. I'd take invulnerability over immortality any day of the week.
@deeliman: You'd still have to suck it up for 1000 years though...or are you jumping in front of a train? =P

I get avoiding immortality, but 1000 years? I'd take it, especially if they were youthful, energetic years. It would be sad to see the people I love leave me, but I'd find new people (I guess it's comparable to having various dogs throughout your lifetime...? :P ) and I think living to see the world's advances would be worth it! Unless of course things went tits up and I were witnessing the final years of life on Earth, in which case: train.
@ianhh6: I'm not even sure if I'm not going to be sick of it all by the time I reach 80, let alone 1000. Give me better life quality for my last decade but keep the extended lifetime. Thanks but no thanks.
Also, if you can compare losing a husband/wife or child to losing a dog I'm assuming you're single =P

husband/wife, parents, siblings, friends, children, you name it :P
Nah, just kidding of course. But I do suppose if I were to live 1000 years I'd learn to love new people, despite never forgetting or ceasing to love the ones who've gone. If I weren't able to then **** it, I'm not suffering a millenium of that.
@Storm_Marine ah you made me lol
Living for a thousand years is more than plenty. I'd probably be ready to die long before then so fly it is. The only problem is how do you fly without having people try to shoot you down? Some hill jack somewhere will take a shot at you for sure....scratch that, just give me immortality. Night life isn't too bad and with super human strength I could just go around kicking ass if I get bored.
Good feedback. As for the flying, you just have to keep your arms out and look like your gliding. As for the immortality in the day, you have all the other benefits, superhuman strength, accelerated healing, all but immortality.
Weird question...why immortality at night? So you don't age at night but you age during the day? Wtf?
Immortal during the night, go to parties, pick fights with everyone and ingest absurd quantities of drugs and alcohol, become some sort of tragic rock-star figure.
