I am a bit of a movie fan. I own about 600-700 dvds that I have neatly displayed, in genre-related shelf spaces, that I take pride in. I also have a great cd selection --call me old-fashion. I don't consider my collection of dvds particularly huge, but it's getting there!

My favorite genre is horror or horror-related. There are many jewels in this genre.

Hopefully, there will be other cinema enthusiasts out there or just people who have seen, pardon my french, shit movies. That's the great thing about opinions: one man's shit can be the next man's gold.

As lists of horrible movies go, critics are divided when it comes to the ultimate crap movie. Some say Troll 2, others say Manos: Hands of Fate, and some claim that Plan 9 From Outer Space is the worst movie.

What is your opinion? What is the worst movie you've ever seen?

Nope not that one. Should've added more details. There are many 2-3 year old kids with super powers and they talk without moving their lips.

Found it, Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (rating 1.9/10)

Well I turned off Silent Hill: Revelations within like the first 20 minutes. Do not know how they went so wrong with the sequel...

Probably the worst movie I saw in theaters was Sphere. Remember falling asleep in the theater, something which I have never done at any other movie...

Hah! I actually really enjoyed Sphere. It's such a creepy, eerie movie I think :)

Haven't seen the Silent Hill: Revelations-movie, but I've seen the one called Silent Hill. It was ok, I guess.

SPOILER ALERT!

Sean Bean Dies

@Gamerno6666 : They're not greaat, but are they the worst? The plot for "unbreakable" is laughable. I hope I wasn't the only one that laughed when Samuel L. Jackson fell down the staircase and broke himself.

Those 70's movies where one guy mows down wave upon wave of bad guys by himself and without ever having to reload the gun.

Another is those movies where there's lot of tears/crying and wallowing in self-pity.

Transformers 3.

The Room is actually an enjoyable film, mostly because of how bad it is. Transformers on the other hand is just plain bad. There isn't a single redeemable thing about it.

Hoping that the wacky fake Christian faux pas and misunderstandings are sprinkled. Meaning not overplayed but small and subtle but very much there.

Date Movie was the worst I've seen, I don't even know what compelled me to watch it in the first place.

I'm glad to see people share my opinion -- I too dislike this film. One of my friends was like "come on! What's not to like? It has giant robots fighting each other...and there are boobs... new boobs[talking about the disappearance of Megan Fox]"

I think Tommy Wiseau embraces his film for what it is -- a really bad and unintentional funny movie. Still, he loves the response. Unlike that Troll 2 director, who still believes Troll 2 is a masterpiece...

Thunder Run (with Forrest Tucker). Another crap movie series I hated is the Iron Eagle movies. I loved the combat footage with the IAF. The movies themselves sucked really bad.

Generally, a good rule of thumb. In the likes of exploring art and cinematography in movies one tend to turn to the extreme. I saw the movie "Begotten" -- a friend of mine told me it was a birilliant art movie. It wasn't...
