I'm getting either a macbook or macbook pro. It all comes down to when I go check em out again so I can see the screen sizes once more.

Macs are cool in certain ways, but I prefer Windows mostly for compatibility overall.

Ermm..shouldn't it be Windows vs OSX? Because you can install Windows on Macs and OSX on Pc right now. Anyway between those OSes it's Windows for me. I'm a gamer, so it's obvious choice. Plus Windows overall has much better software support (OSX one is very weak), including some stuff that I need for my work that's not avaible on OSX. I can see how ease of use of OSX might be apealing to some people, but I still remember how to edit autoexec.bat so DoS games would run, so WindowsXP to me is extremely easy and problem free. It has all the functionality I need, I don't see anything in OSX that would interst me (the same with new vista features, I mean..heck...even Win98 was enough for me feature-wise)

Now Mac vs PC (hardware) is a bit diffrent. I would never buy a deskop Mac (for the same ammount of money I could get much better Pc), but macbooks are preety nice, altough I do prefer PC laptops and even if i would buy macbook I would still only use Windows on it.

And the Mac mouse has both a left-click and right-click sensor, they're just integrated into one button/surface.

I've been a big windows user for years. Yes, it's buggy, but it's what I'm used to.

The mouse got a lot better.  I'm getting the bluetooth one.

The poll should have also included those of us who like both OSs.

I've never used a mac, but based on what the adverts claim it's best for and for various compatibility issues my vote goes for Windows.
