All I saw in that article when I scrolled down was Bruce Willis.

Unless that is how the kid looks like, inwhich case I think Kate might've been on Bruce's "Nakatomi Plaza"

@Treflis: Sorry about that. I had to change the link, though. It should be clear to read now.

We got celeb reactions from Us Weekly and The Daily Mail:

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/royal-baby-reactions-stars-applaud-kate-middleton-prince-william-201525

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3065291/Cheryl-Fernandez-Versini-leads-celebrity-tweets-royal-baby-arrives.html

I'm also imagining that David Suchet, the British actor best known for portraying Hercule Poirot in his TV series, would be proud of this new surprise, since the baby's arrival had to happen on his 69th birthday!

@angeldeb82: I actually forgot she was pregnant. I love it how most of the world is like "Yay, royal baby" and the Brits are like "Hey you ready for the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight?"

In general we really don't. I personally think they are leeches but the British seem to be in love with having royals. There are some here who care in so far as they like celebrity gossip as well. But honestly I've never met anyone...anywhere...in the US who really cares about the British monarchy.

Oh come on. All they did was to copulate without using birth control measures. That's hardly worthy of a standing ovation.

@angeldeb82: Diana's death was a terrible tragedy. It's very touching to see them pay her tribute by carrying on her name with the newest member.

Cute baby sure.

So over the royalty BS.

They're just the Kardashians with more clothes on, really. They don't actually do much of anything, except visit countries and make said countries pay for their visits.

This just isnt true, I am British and the number of people who "love" having a monarchy is actually very small. It is however a British institution and most people have an appreciation for the role they play in our society without being Royalists. Their contribution to tourism alone is incredibly valuable and far outweighs the amount of money they "sponge". Considering they have very little control over society in general it would be virtually pointless and probably detrimental to get rid of them. The British monarchy has been largely powerless for a good many years and British people continue to see value in them, just because you are largely ignorant of their value does not make it a fact that they have none.

In other news I am pleased a human male and a human female have managed to produce a human baby. We should be proud a celebrate their unique achievement.

Good on them, and I hope it's a healthy baby and they have a happy life. But does it affect me or do I really care? No.

Tourism? I know you guys believe that....but remove the royals and you'd see tourism doesn't lose a cent.

But isn't rather sad that both Kate and William got "the clap"?

We did fight a war to get rid of the British monarchy so it seems odd that people are so in love with them again. The last time those 2 came to the U.S. that's all the news was talking about.
