Why Is It Socially Frowned Upon To...

Dislike emos, yet when people hate hippies and what they did, its okay? I don't understand this. They're both musical subcultures, they both have their unique traits, yet for some reason, for every person that dislikes emos, there are ten more to say, "Why do you pick upon emos" when they'd gladly laugh at hippies themselves?

Is it the hardcore emo outlook? Is it that everyone else has to adhere to what they want to see the world as from their little perch? That they have to uphold that image for them?

What!?! I don't get it...

Its crazy. What is your take on it?

When did this happen? I see people showering hate on emos everyday... I can't really say I support abuse to other humans; since they're suicidal, it would be better to support them (if you're a friend/parent) or leave them alone (if you're neither of the two)...

So the reason society frown upon hippies and emos is actually justified biblically, I dont know about emo woman, they just fuel the flames to me. But, personally they are a counter-productive culture.

I don't know how it happened. I woke up one day and there was a sea of them. I had to ask who they were and why they were all chanting "long live the new flesh!"

Even though it's the exact opposite who cares what is and what isn't socially acceptable? If it wasn't people doing whatever feels necessary or deserved nothing would change.

Sometimes it takes a deviant to put things into perspective or show people that their expectations are trivial. A follower feels preasured to fit in while a leader just doesn't give a ****

Of course there's always a time to kiss ass. Such as an obligation. Especially one that subjects you to the scrutiny of petty actions and abuse of politics. Such as a job.

I honestly don't look down on emos OR hippies, because I prefer to look at people AS PEOPLE.

I mean, I could hate people because they like anime. Or I could hate people because they smoke pot. Or I could hate people because they're fat. Or I could hate people because they're 25 years old and still play videogames. Or I could hate people because they have tattoos. Or I could hate people because they believe in god. Or I could hate people because they voted for Bush. Or I could hate people because they like a certain genre of music. Or I could hate people because I think that their preferred style of clothing is lame. I could hate people because they're black and they like wearing baggy clothes and enjoy listening to rap music. I could hate people because they're ugly.

Whatever. I could hate people for all sorts of reasons. And maybe I do hate people for some stupid ass reasons. Doesn't change the fact that all of this bullcrap is just a way to AVOID getting to know people. A way to say, "well this dude has buck teeth, lives in a trailer, and gets beaten by his dad, so he's obviously trailer trash scum and not worthy of my time. **** that trailer trash hillbilly."

But hey, if that's what works for you, then go for it.

emos are a bunch of losers and hippies are cool in my book because of the decrease of them.
