When a girl giggles often , what does it mean ?
that they're saving their hideous laughters for later when you get closer.
Giggles from far away, maniacal cackling when you step closer? I believe you.
Don't they stop doing that after they turn 15? =P
even a bunch of old ladies giggle in the 3rd world country ...it's one of their succes of longevity ..... go backpack and see for your self ...
@hippiesanta: I know everyone giggles, but the OP asked why do they giggle "a lot", so I took it as them giggling at everything you say, which normally stops halfway through their teenage years. Maybe it was a wrong interpretation of my part =) Also if someone made me wear a boob scarf I would be facepalming, barring that I'd probably giggle too XD
Tip: Every dumb thing she does means she's interested. If you didn't get a clear no then just make a push. If you can't consistently assess if you've got some verbal or nonverbal or whatever no then you have more pressing matters to deal with.
@korvus:
I have to delete the boob scarf because I don't want to be a victim from mod ... especially hallenback gurl ... lol
@hippiesanta: She "indirectly" likes him? Wtf does that even mean?
Ur understanding in english is sooo bad ... u want to be a grammar nazi .... lloll
u anglais is equally bad ... lol

BEWARE THE NIPS!! =P
@hippiesanta: Please try to answer the question. How can one indirectly like another, and how is giggling an indication of such?
Why should he answer the question? Would that provide you with some satisfaction? Just because he hasnt expressed what he intended correctly doesnt mean its impossible to interpret what it is he means. For someone that seems to frequently pick up on other people's mistakes I am genuinely amazed you lack the basic ability to interpret a incorrectly worded post and understand its true intention.

He should answer the question because that's how reasonable people communicate. If a reasonable person makes a statement that doesn't make sense they will support and clarify their comment as the conversation carries on.
I've asked a very simple question. I'm simply trying to understand what it means to indirectly like a person.
No... reasonable people use their skills of interpretation to fill in the gaps when others are not as clear and concise as they could have been. I would argue in this situation its fairly obvious what he meant, and thus unreasonable and unnecessary to ask for clarification. Unless of course, you are totally totally unaware of what it is he means. In which case I do think you need to interact with more human beings, and improve those interpretation skills. It took me seconds to deduce what it was hippiesanta meant. So either I am incredibly perceptive or you totally lack the basics.
Although I suspect as usual you are just nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking, drawing from it the bizarre sense of satisfaction you must attain from being "correct". Which is pathetic.
On topic: I have always placed the giggle somewhere between "not funny" and "laughter". Something to fill the void when something is funny enough to show enjoyment but not enough to laugh until your sides hurt.
because happy light hearted people are more attractive and they either want social approval, or maybe they're actually laughing at you
It means they have a mental problem and want to control your life, don't give in. And whatever you do, DO NOT put a ring on it.
She doesn't like uncomfortable silence and because laughter is often associated with positivity, filling the void with such, in her mind, makes her feel better about her social interactions with you. In other words, she focuses too much on what people think of her and she just wants to be liked [by you].
